Terms of Service

The scope of PR Roadmap, your responsibilities, and the terms for using the workspace and paid features.

Last updated:

PR Roadmap helps organize existing information and explain published sources. We do not consult, recommend a program or strategy, decide for you, or represent you. You make your own decisions; questions about your individual legal situation belong with an authorized immigration professional.

1. About this agreement

These Terms govern PR Roadmap’s website, workspace and related features. “We”, “us” and “our” mean the operator below. By accepting these Terms when completing registration or continuing workspace access, you enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use account features. You may still manage or cancel an existing subscription.

PR Roadmap is an independently operated information and organization service.

For privacy requests, questions about these terms, billing issues or complaints, contact support@canadaprroadmap.com or use our contact page. Include your account email and the nature of your request; do not send identity documents or payment card details.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. Optional cookies and AI sharing are separate choices.

2. Information tools, not immigration advice

PR Roadmap is independent software for organizing information. We do not provide immigration or citizenship consultations, legal advice or representation. Using the service does not create a consultant–client, lawyer–client, fiduciary or representative relationship.

We help you gather and organize existing public information, read plain-language summaries of published requirements, keep your own facts, notes and dates together, and ask factual questions whose answers are supported by the official sources available to the service.

We do not choose or recommend an immigration program, strategy or course of action for you; decide what you should submit or write; assess your individual legal position or admissibility; prepare application letters or legal arguments; submit an expression of interest or application; communicate with authorities on your behalf; or predict an invitation, approval or likelihood of success. You choose your own goals, programs and next steps.

A fee pays for access to software features, not professional immigration advice. An AI response is not a professional opinion. For interpretation of law in your individual circumstances, application strategy or representation, consult an authorized Canadian immigration professional. Check authorization using IRCC’s official guidance.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for IRCC, the Government of Canada, any province or territory, or an immigration regulator. We cannot grant status, obtain preferential treatment or influence government decisions.

3. Sources and automated comparisons

Immigration rules, forms, fees, thresholds and program availability change. Summaries and stored sources may be incomplete, simplified or out of date. Current official source documents control. Follow source links and verify requirements and deadlines directly before acting.

Comparisons use only recorded facts and implemented checks. A match, gap, score or status is not a complete eligibility assessment, invitation, approval or confirmation that you are ready to apply. Some checks record only whether information is present: a recorded language test does not establish qualifying scores or validity, and a funds amount does not establish that an official threshold is met.

Checks do not fully assess work continuity, overlapping employment, NOC duties, eligible occupations, admissibility or all program exceptions. Missing facts and unimplemented checks can change the result. Saved milestones and dates are your records, not official application status or guaranteed reminders.

4. Assistant limitations

The assistant can summarize sources, explain recorded comparisons and help organize user-stated information. AI can invent details, misunderstand questions or produce answers outside its intended scope. Citations and safeguards do not guarantee accuracy. An unexpected recommendation does not change the service’s information-only scope and should not be relied on as professional advice.

Do not use output as an application answer, legal opinion or final verification of a requirement. Check the original source and seek authorized advice where your question depends on individual legal circumstances. Report misleading answers to us.

Supported actions may propose recording a plan you have already stated. Your confirmation is required before a proposed event is saved. This does not submit an application, book an exam, make a payment or guarantee a reminder.

5. Your account and responsibilities

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in methods and access only accounts and records you are entitled to use. You are responsible for your recorded information, decisions and any application you independently submit.

Verify deadlines and keep copies of important records. Do not rely on the service as your only calendar, archive or information source. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

Features, billing frequency, price, currency and applicable charges are shown before purchase. Monthly or yearly subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payments and may provide separate checkout and billing terms. Sandbox transactions are tests and collect no real money.

Cancel renewal through your account or Stripe billing management. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period, with access continuing for that period unless subscription status requires otherwise. Plan changes and prorated charges are shown for confirmation in billing management.

Except where law requires a refund or we agree otherwise, completed billing periods and unused portions of a period are not refunded. Contact us about duplicate charges, billing errors or statutory cancellation and refund rights. Mandatory consumer rights are preserved.

Canceling renewal does not delete data. Deleting notes or stopping use does not cancel renewal. Material price or subscription changes will be communicated before they apply, with notice or consent required by law.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to commit fraud, fabricate evidence or misrepresent facts to an authority; break the law; access others’ data without permission; bypass security or usage limits; distribute malware; or interfere with the service.

Do not present output as a licensed professional opinion or government decision, or provide information you lack the right to use. We may restrict abusive activity to protect users and the service.

8. Your content and our software

You retain rights in your content. You give us limited permission to host, process, transmit to providers you authorize and display it as needed to operate the service and meet applicable obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We and our licensors retain rights in our software, design and original materials. You receive a limited right to use the service for your own lawful purposes. Public sources remain subject to their owners’ terms. AI output may not be unique; we do not guarantee ownership or third-party clearance of generated text.

9. Availability and third-party services

Maintenance, errors, source changes and provider outages can interrupt features. We may update or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete coverage or any immigration outcome. If we discontinue a paid service, we will address unused prepaid access as required by law.

Linked services have their own terms and privacy practices. Source and resource links do not imply affiliation or endorsement.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that use will satisfy an immigration requirement or prevent loss of a deadline, fee, status or opportunity.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost opportunities arising from use. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply where prohibited by law. They do not exclude liability for our fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or restrict non-waivable consumer or privacy rights.

11. Ending use or access

You may stop using the service at any time. Cancel paid renewal separately and contact us for account deletion. We may suspend or end access for a material breach, security risk or legal requirement, with notice where practical and legally required. Suspension does not remove statutory refund rights.

Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations. Provisions intended to continue after access ends, including payment obligations already incurred, intellectual property and lawful liability limits, continue to apply.

12. Changes, disputes and applicable law

Revised Terms will show an updated date; material changes will be brought to your attention. Continued workspace access may require accepting a new version. New terms do not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen.

Contact us first to try to resolve a concern. Applicable Canadian federal and provincial or territorial laws, including mandatory laws protecting you where you live, govern to the extent they apply. These Terms do not require arbitration, waive class proceedings or prevent use of a court or regulator available under applicable law.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. These Terms control over summaries, subject to mandatory legal rights.

Keep just the essentials, or choose what else you’re comfortable with. You can change this at any time.
